Body of Man Found at Danger Beach

Cape Times (South Africa)
November 10, 2005

An unknown, tattoed man with hospital ECG stickers on his ankle and wrists was found washed up on the rocks at Danger beach, St James, at 12.45pm yesterday.

The man was of medium complexion, about 1.67m tall with black hair but was fairly bald, said police spokeswoman Bernadine Steyn.

Anyone with information is asked to call the investigating officer, Gary Drake, at the Muizenberg police station on 021 787 9000.

What a creepy little story. A dead, unidentified, tattooed man with EKG stickers on him washes up on a beach in South Africa.

There’s a very Bourne-Identity-cum-Lost vibe to that. You can’t help but wonder what the story is behind it – or want to write it yourself. It has to be a good one.
