Contact with another Other Me! The NC vet emailed me very nicely to ask me to remove some identifying information that I’d accidentally left in a post way back. I try to remove all details so I was very glad she’d pointed it out.Â

More email from the class parents for the reception/kindergarten class for one of the UK Other Me’s kid. These teachers are getting some really lovely gifts.Â

It seems there may be a New York Other Me, or at least one who’s associated with a school there. But if you were hiring teachers, wouldn’t you ask for letters of recommendation before you hire them? And wouldn’t you MEET them before hiring them too? Odd.Â

We are excited for you to begin your employment with The Mandell School! In preparation for the academic year we would like to schedule some time for you to meet with the Human Resource Department. This will give us a chance to meet and for you to complete all of the necessary paperwork, as well as review the pre-employment guidelines and requirements (e.g. annual health form and fingerprinting requirements) and answer any questions that you may have. As your contract indicates, your appointment is contingent on your completion of your employment file prior to the beginning of the academic year. We ask that you bring with you the documents listed below;
Three letters of recommendation
An official copy of your transcript and undergraduate or graduate (if applicable) diploma
A copy of your resume
A voided check for direct deposit (if applicable)
Work Authorization documents as described in page 5 of the attached federal I-9 form
