New Music Tuesday

Can somebody tell me why no normal embed code or quick embed is working? WordPress has changed, or Youtube has, or my theme is broken, or I’m more sleep-deprived than I thought, or all of the above. I’m posting anyway so someone can teach me the fix.

Anyway, these songs are making me happy. They’re not about plastic cups, so comparatively in pop culture, they’re sublime, right? It’s all about context.

Whatever crap he touches, I love. Helpless to his French voodoo.

“Somebody That I Used to Know” – Gotye ft. Kimbra
Poppy, but dreamy. Simple and gorgeous. It makes my heart hurt.

“Dance With Me Tonight” – Olly Murs
He just makes me smile all big and goofy. He’s a big singing puppy.
