Sometimes we get so lost in the world of pixels and picas that we forget that words can find a home in the grass and sidewalks and forests and tarmac of reality.

Candy Chang doesn’t forget that – she glories in it. Her projects are amazing, but I love this one best: Before I Die.

We’re not out in grass and tarmac right now, but let’s just pretend this here is a giant chalkboard wall. How would you finish “Before I Die…”?

Mine: “I want to make people think and smile like Candy did with this installation.”
