Danshari

Danshari is a popular new Japanese concept that sums up organization and minimalism. An awful lot has already been written about it (follow those links for a start) so I won’t say much more than explain it and say what I love best about it.

It’s three big, difficult concepts:

  1. Refuse new stuff.
  2. Throw away old stuff.
  3. Separate your self from your stuff.

…summed up in one word.

How about THAT for organization and minimalism?
