Tactile edition. Suitable for cold, short winter days.

  • Hoodie. Brandy-new, zip up the front, long enough so the sleeves slip over my hands, extra-plush on the inside, and best yet, it’s from the Navy to remind me of my awesome brother. Dee-lightful.
  • Uggs. I know, I know: I scorned them lo these many years. I was wrong. So very wrong. They are the warmest, coziest things ever – and now, they have so many varieties that you don’t have to get one of the ugly ones.
  • Sonicare. I’ve never had teeth so slippy-shiny-clean in my whole life. Splendid – and especially so, once I realized that, if you turn it on after you shut your mouth, you won’t spray an explosion of toothpaste all over the bathroom. Excellent.
  • Fireplace. See also, My Big Cozy Chair Tucked Next To The. There are sublime happinesses, and this is one of them.

Wishing you a New Year that’s starting off tucked up somewhere snug and warm.
