A hodgepodge, this time, but with a bonus Realtor photo, for Greg, who collects them.

Lorenzo emailed Other Me, but I think she was trying to blow him off. Aw, poor Lorenzo.

Rich sent Connecticut Other Me a link to varsity sports schedules.

LA Fitness sent Kameron a link to his (her?) online account. (Is he [she?] sharing Other Me’s email?)

A teenage Other Me is interested in applying to Manhattanville College. She would be going to their Spring Admissions Event. If she knew that her registration was confirmed for it, anyway.

Barbara sent Jim and Other Me a nice long detailed explanation of what they should list their house for, based on a variety of recent comps. She was very nice when I explained that, as lovely as I’m sure Jim was, I wasn’t looking to shack up with him. If you need a real estate agent in Michigan, please contact her.

Subject: Happy Easter – Application Deadline Approaching

Hope you enjoyed your Easter with friends and loved ones!!!

The Final Deadline for our U.S. volunteer positions is May 15th which is a little over a month away!!!

Attached you will find a list of our featured positions, for a list of all of our positions please visit our website www.mercyvolunteers.org/sitesofservice

Here is a link to our application for the 2012-2013 service year – www.mercyvolunteers.org/application

MVC is a full-time lay volunteer program offering placements in the continental U.S. and Guyana, South America. We invite women and men to compassionate service with people who are economically poor or marginalized in our society. Volunteers have the opportunity to embrace service, a simple lifestyle in community, and personal and communal spiritual growth. Mercy Volunteers receive housing, medical insurance, transportation, food and personal stipends, and student loan deferment. U.S. volunteers may be eligible for an AmeriCorps Education Award, depending on funding.

Mercy Volunteers serve in 8 U.S. cities in education, health care and social services. The one year U.S. service commitment begins with the Mercy Volunteer Corps Orientation Week starting August 5th, 2012. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. The deadline for U.S. applications is May 15. Due to the large number of applications and the availability of sites, it is suggested that you send in your application as soon as you complete it (last year we had to close our application process early due to a large number of applicants). You can view our sites of service and volunteer positions for the 2012-2013 service year at www.mercyvolunteers.org/sitesofservice.

Mercy Volunteer Corps also has an International Program which presently offers sites in Guyana, South America for a two year commitment. Volunteers in Guyana (the only English speaking country in South America) serve in St. John Bosco Orphanage, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, and Mercy Wings Vocational School. International volunteers attend cross-cultural training prior to their August departure. The deadline for applications for the international program has already passed, but please contact us if you want more information about the international program or if you would like to apply next year.
I hope that you find MVC to be a good match for you! If you have any questions about the program, please call me at [REDACTED] or e-mail me at [REDACTED]. Please be assured of the prayers of the entire Mercy Volunteer Corps community as you consider your call to service with us.
In Mercy,

John
