I stopped dyeing my hair about four months ago.

I’ve dyed it since I was 16, and I was curious what it was really like – the texture, etc.

“And,” I said chuckling, “I could really be grey and I’d never know it!”

I have just found my first grey hair.

It has ceased being funny. Completely.
