I don’t know how well this will come across, but I went to the trouble so I wanted to share: a stitched-together photo of the Puget Sound, taken from the 55th (next-to-the-top) floor of Two Union Square, the third-tallest building in Seattle. Unfortunately you can’t see the mountains very clearly (Mount Rainier would be all the way to the left), but you can see (from left to right):

  • The Bank of America Tower, the tallest building in Seattle (the big black one)
  • Qwest Field, where the Seahawks play (brown with white top)
  • Safeco Field, where the Mariners play (behind Qwest Field)
  • Washington Mutual Tower (the pretty pointy-topped building by itself about a third of the way from the left)
  • Hamilton Viewpoint Park (the closest peninsula in the middle)
  • Key Arena, where the Supersonics play (which looks like a big white tent)
  • The Space Needle
  • The Experience Music Project (which looks like a big deflated balloon)
